Tahoe tail lights not fitting on denali?

So me and another member are trading my 07' Denali tail lights for his stock tahoe tail lights. I just went out in the garage to swap them out and quickly found out that the bulb fittings don't quite match up with the holes on the tahoe tails.. what can I do to make them work? Dremel the notches on the bulb fitting possible to make them fit?

we didnt swap harnesses, we just swapped the housings..
