So I have dilemma. I just got a box built to fit behind my third row (2 12" Sundown SA12s w/ 1.5 cu ft each tuned at 34hz) but now I have nowhere to mount my amps or second battery... Anybody have an idea where to mount?

I have a Kinetic HC2400, A Fosgate T2001BD, and an MB Quart ONX125.4 that are all kinda big and clunky

For the battery make a bracket/frame/box out of aluminum angle, threaded rod, nuts bolts, etc. that you can get at home depot or wherever and put it under the left rear fender area behind the drivers rear tire. I know on mine there looks to be enough room to tuck a battery(of course depending on size) right up in that empty space.

My amps are not too long that they wont fit under each rear bucket like i just had in my '05 ESV, same as what you have space wise I think. So I dont know what to tell you on that.

It really depends on how stock you want your Tahoe to look after your done.

I have your same vehicle configuration, i have my amps under the 2nd row seats and when i get around to it im gonna build a center section between the seats to house the battery

I like having everything hidden as best as possible. My sub box is easily removable and I dont want my amp or battery anywhere thats its going to be in the way. I was at first thinking of putting the battery in the center console but now I might be putting an 8 inch sub there. I'm really kind of stuck right now!! I def need the 2nd battery with the amps i'm running and maybe I can try to fit it under the hood somewhere but its huge

the HD diesel's had an extra battery under the hood, there is quite a bit of room in fact, just have to come up with the right brackets and tray from wither a junkyard or fromt he dealer to make it fit like OEM, this is the route I will go once I get to the stereo in mine again. But you really should use the same size, type and age battery if at all possible so everything charges evenly.

Yup, in front of the fuse panel on the drivers side. I think this area is set up for COLD WEATHER...

+1 on the Diesel dual battery location. One in the stock location and one at the firewall on the passenger side.
