I wish I had seen this a few hours ago....Morimoto heat sinks are too big for my 09 Tahoe.

I have a question about the stock headlamps for the 07-14 Yukons.
I have been searching for days on the right place to ask this question since I couldn't find my answer.

I have a 2014 Yukon Denali and I was going to purchase a set of ebay headlamps (Don't worry I changed my mind) and when I went to possibly order them they said they would fit a 2014 Yukon SLT but would not fit a 2014 Yukon Denali??? I figured it was just some moron selling products they had no clue about.

Im going to buy a retrofit projector set from someone but my question is...
Are the headlamps different at all between the 07-14 Yukon and Yukon Denali?

I know its a dumb question but I just want to be sure all of this generation of headlamp fit between each other and that there were no major differences?
I know that I read somewhere that the Denali headlamp looks slightly different inside the lamp or something?
Im asking about the sizing though and spacing of the back of all of the headlamps.

I want to be sure that this used retrofit from a few years back still fits the 2014 Yukon Denali.

Why bi-xenon and not a low beam projector like a Koito from an S2k?

Bc it's a simple all in one unit. If you do a low beam only like a s2k, then where is your high beam going to go in an Yukon headlight?

Oh I'm thinking a Tahoe headlight.
What would you do for high beams? Leds are really up for a fight with the hid low beams. HID high beams require a few seconds for warm up and makes flash to pass not so instantaneous. I havnt heard much about HIR's lately. Halogen high beams would be worthless.

Well let me start by saying I'm spoiled when it comes to HID because of my S2000 which till this day along with the LS430 projectors are the best HID projectors out there as far as beam pattern, cut-off and light output.

So as far as low beams for me it's HID (S2k Koito projector), LED/Halogen depending on the application. It'***** or miss. (This doesn't include OEM LED, can't beat that with an LED in a housing meant for halogen). And lastly OEM halogen.

Like you mentioned, turning ON/OFF HIDs is a HUGE No No due to possibly frying the ballast. We're talking 23,000 Volts at start up every time you turn them on... So for highbeams like on a Yukon I would defenitly do a Bi-Xenon set up.

Again I'm use to my S2k with the HID/Halogen set up from factory. I'm not a fan of two sets of HID set ups for both Low and High beam applications. I would probably test out an LED for the high beams on a vehicle with seperate lows and highs like my Tahoe or the S.

A set of RX350 Bi-Xenons would be nice or Bi-LED Koito or Osram would nice to or some OEM Bosch E46 BMW Bi-Xenon projectors.

Which switchbacks are you using? you have the set up i want minus the denali headlights
