need help...i used led bulbs in my 01 yukon and the third brake light stays on, i changed the polarities and changed bulbs. the problem still existsany ideas?

isn't the CHMSL separate from the left and right brake lights...I seem to recall they are on a separate circuit...

Usually on most cars the issue is the resistance of the LED compared to incandescent. You either need to add an inline resister, buy a canbus certified LED, or sometimes you need to buy a solid state flasher relay that is designed for LED applications.

I’ve had several vehicles that I changed to LED and had to do different things to each one for them to work correctly. On my f150 the high beams were stuck on and all the dash lights were stuck when I swapped to led fog lights. It was a resistance issue in the circuit.

IMO the easiest way is to spend the extra $$ and get a canbus LED(they closely match the incandescent resistance characteristics).
