quite honestly, there are virtually no clean 99's that are going for less in my area. i looked since the beginning of july and there's hardly anything. the next closest one had a little less miles on the original motor and newer tires, but nothing else. this one also has the fuel filter and fuel pump replaced as well so other than tires, it should be maintenance free for quite a long time. A friend of mine that owns a local detail shop and has a couple dealer accounts said people were trading in excellent shape suburbans on the cash for clunkers and there wasn't anything wrong with them. If only they knew they could have gotten another 500-1000 out of them they would be kicking themselves, but now the value on them have gone back up some because of that which is making the nice ones harder to come by. i know i didn't get an insane deal, but it was a fair price for a very clean truck.

the motor that was put in is from a more local place called tri-star i believe. the guy said they've been dealing with them for 4 or so years and haven't had any issues. still about 10 months left on the motor warranty too.
