Hey guys, Im working on a 93 chevy 350 with the TBI setup. I installed a phenolic Spacer on it today. What other mods will give me the best performance increases for the least amount of money. Blowers, turbos, super chargers, new engine/cams are out of the question. It currently has a K/N air cleaner in the stock housing. Would a complete cold air kit help?

Free TBI mods..TBI spacer..injector spacer...adjustable fuel pressure regulator, bump it up to 12-13psi...Complete CAI will help along with a whole new exhaust, from the headers back.

Last but not least...a chip from fastchip.com

The Truck is a 93, and the fast chip is all new to me. What will the fast chip do for me HP/ MPG wise?

Could someone please elaborate on these free TBI mods? Or list them so I can search for them? Thanks.

I can't find the thread on thirdgen.org anymore ... here's a pic of mine:

http://www.route66wingsandwheels.com/uploads/dsc00296.jpg

Basically I shaved the throttle shaft and screws down, filed off the ridges at the top of the TBI and I used two "gaskets" under the fuel pod. That raised it up a lil bit and I had to clearance the rear where the nut goes thru ... There are spacers to raise that pod up but I used the "free" mods. LOL

I did all this when I pulled the TBI and rebuild it, the TPS went out and I figured it was a good time. :D
