TCCM question

So I have a 02 Tahoe z71 and all the lights on my 4wd panel are lit on the dash. And it's throwing a service 4wd light and it's stuck in 4 low .and it a also clicking in the dash. So I changed to button box and that did not work. Now I'm thinking maybe change the TCCM however I did find it top left silver box with two plugs . But how in the world do I get it out? I took front and bottom dash covers off. It seems like there are some lockers u can push up but still want budge. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks in advance
