Telescoping column swap?

Would any of you fine folks know if there is a telescopic steering column out there that would bolt up (or mostly bolt up) to my 05 suburban 1500 LT?
Maybe a Denali/Escalade or a later model?

I believe these were discontinued due to the addition of airbags. So you'd have to either use a custom setup, or a steering column from like the '80s... Good luck, though. This is interesting, if nothing else.

May I ask why you are interested in a telescoping wheel?
