I highly doubt that the 285 55 22 will fit at stock height. With that said, with a high offset wheel (+35 or higher) and some trimming you might pull it off, but I doubt it. I am actually thinking about a 2" body lift in addition to my 2.5/1" suspension/leveling lift.

What size Terra G's?

Thanks for that info ... So I guess my real question is what is the largest size Terra G that will fit my stock height Tahoe on 9 inch 22's without rubbing? I am buying a set of the CK 375's / from SuperchargedSS. I know most put 285/45 to 305/45 street tires on but I know the Terra G's might be more aggressive and might rub compared to say ... Toyo proxys etc ...Thanks for your help.

A combo of your overall diameter and wheel offset is what will affect your clearance. I know that on a 22x9 with a 32mm offset, a 31.6" tire will not rub at stock height. I would assume you could run atleast a 32" tire on the same wheel, which would be a 285/45/22 Terra Grappler. If you don't want to do any trimming, that would probably be your best option. However, a 305/45/22 is only an inch taller and roughly 1/2 inch wider.

A lot of people on here say they had minor trimming with 33" tires on roughly stock offset wheels even with a 2.5" leveling kit. In my opinion, I had minor trimming with a 34.3" tire with a leveling kit. Everyone's opinion of trimming is different. My father inlaw has a 2010 Tahoe and didn't even notice that I had trimmed anything until I pointed it out to him and showed him the differences on his Tahoe compared to my Yukon. If I was going to need a lot of suspension movement (offroading), I would need another 2 inches of lift just for clearance when turning.

I had Toyo Open Country A/T's on my last vehicle, a Ford F-150 CC 4x4, and I drove that thing a LOT. I bought them new from a local shop that balanced and mounted them, and I never once rotated them or put air in them in the 44k miles I had them on my truck until I traded that truck for my Tahoe. They were wearing evenly and still had 30-40% tread life left. I would recommend them to anyone in a heart beat.
