Dude.. you can't think outside your little box. Grow up and get some experience and then you can come back here and try and lecture us all on the virtues of Tesla.

Some of us don't drive the biggest vehicles on the planet as a daily driver just because we like to spend more money on gas, insurance, taxes, and everything else associated with driving a gas/diesel vehicle. We drive them because they're capable of hauling more than (and for longer distance) would fit in a Tesla.

20 years ago, I would have never dreamed of owning a large family hauler. I wanted a sports car.. plans change and seasons change. I'll get my sports car someday.. who knows it may even end up being a Tesla. I'd have to look at that when I get to that point in my life.

You want someone to harass go and yell at the folks with commuter cars like Honda, VW, BMW, Chevy, etc.. they're more your speed.

I have a 33' dual-axle almost 8000 lb camper because that's what I want/need right now having 4 kids and family up in the Midwest that we like to visit a couple times a year. We also enjoy going on long trips to see things we haven't seen before. I haul my house with me which means I don't have to plunk down $300/night on two hotel rooms.

Out of ALL the things you just outlined in that scenario, ‘having’ to drive a brand new Tesla instead of a decade old GM is the least nightmarish aspect of it LOL!

We get it man. A Tesla won’t work for you. But honestly...your dogged and emotion fueled determination around trying to convince others it’s ALSO not for them is a little unhinged.

I don’t get your problem with having a 10 year old vehicle. Many find value in things that are proven reliable instead of blowing money trading up for something new every few years. You’re here trying to insult or get a rise out of anyone who voices that they’re not interested in a Tesla

Never said that. You're making that up which proves my point. You twist things out of context thinking you're being funny but honestly it's not.

I make my previous posts more clear:
Get the charging stops as quick and often as I have to currently stop for Diesel (about every 5 hours @ 10 min each) while hauling my 8000lb travel trailer and allow me drive along the shortest route (without having to dictate a route based on the availability of Tesla Supercharger locations) and in the shortest time possible and I'll look at it. Until then, you don't have a case. I'm not the only one in this forum that feels this way.

To be fair, I don't use my Escalade to tow any longer. It's strictly for family duty or for hauling a small trailer full of bikes to the bike trail. I actually use another vehicle.... Wait for it.

My tow vehicle is a 2007 F350 Crew Cab Long wheelbase King Ranch 4X4 Dually with a 6.0 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel. It's fully Bulletproofed and wil haul just about anything I could possibly hitch up to it. I can also tune it up and roll coal with the best of them. Which if I saw you rolling up in your Tesla (and I knew who you were) I'd be more than happy to demonstrate on.

Just go back to your Starbucks in your preppy Tesla and leave the rest of us alone. Think about your life and the choices you've made. Not everyone is going or should make those same decisions.

If you want to drive 10 hours out of your way to save a couple of bucks then go for it. My time and peace of mind is worth more than that.
