One thing to consider about a comparison "test" between Ford / Tesla.....
Marketing engineers could have done some physics & math.....
How to attach the Tesla to the Ford and take weight off the Ford to reduce traction and be able pull the heavier Ford.

It's all about the footprint on the ground.

I can bet if Ford was doing the same test, the Ford would succeed.

Holy sh*t, did you see that? Indestructible body, 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, faster than most Ferrari’s, 500 mile range.

It towed that Ford F-150 backwards, uphill like the Ford was a toy. I predict their next iteration will include a 3rd row and enclosed back to compete with Suburban, eventually.

I doubt it. The electric motors at all 4 wheels combined with the computer really works out as far as torque and traction are concerned. Ever ridden in a Tesla roadster? It’s pretty amazing.

I have seen the test's they did with the production sedans against the fastest cars in the world, tesla smokes them all out the gate anyway

I agree with the software they use they can apply a massive amount of torque to those electric motors, they can already smoke the quickest gas car's in the world out of the gate with a production sedan, it's only after about 100mph that any of them can catch up
skip to 5 minutes for the actual race
