hey guys, heres the scoop. my 99 hoe has the dreaded waterleak coming from the inside of the fresh air intake under the cowl. ive done my reasurch, checked GM Service information for bulletins, ( to find none for the OBS tahoe) and tryed re-sealing the out side around the duct under the cowl. it still leaks. is there somthing im missing about this? could i try and seal the inside? and i know its coming from up top because the water is getting by the recirculator door, and ending up under the floormat. and there is water in the blower motor compartment. (when its hot, it works great as a humidifier!) but im sick of wetvaccing the passangers side floor everytime it rains, beacuse i dont have inside storage for the truck :( help!

the water is running down the inside of the duct and the windshield was replaced and that didnt fix the problem. it was an issue before and after that was done. i was able to watch the water coming down by pushing door open.

ya, well i tried that when i had the whole thing apart the first time. didnt fix it. i even put slightly bigger screws in with a dab of silicone. its weird cus at like 45 MPH or faster, you can hear it whistling. no draft from the door, but you can hear it on recirculate mode or not.
