The hoe is home!

My 02 has a new brother.... I brought the 08 home today. It feels like a 4WD compared to the 02- I see a drop coming in the future! I guess I'll be busy this weekend cleaning/detailing it and getting all the dealer crap off it....

First impression - the 5.3 is a hoss compared to the 4.8. It just doesn't need to downshift. Other thing- the 02 interior is roomier (at least for me). Why did they have to make that huge bulge around the stereo/hvac controls? I'm 6'6" and that is right where my knee sits. There is enough legroom that it won't be a problem but there would be so much more room without that....

Nice looking trucks. when I bought my yukon it had the jump seat instead of the center console. I was like WTF? who the hell would fit there. lol

Thanks guys- the plan was to sell the 02 (I have two buyers lined up at work) but I don't know if we have the heart. Even my wife is saying we ought to keep it. Even with the high miles, its still a damn nice truck even right after driving the new one.

And I didn't plan on two the same color....but oh well...it works!

I looked at a few with the jumpseat but was really hooked on getting another one with the center console- I didn't think about pulling the center section out and installing one. The storage it provides is awesome.

I think I'm gonna hook it up with the katzkin kit later this year....
