Well thanks to you guys I finally ordered an endoscope so thanks for that. Following to see where the oil is coming from. I’m betting the pressure sensor.

Handy little bugger!
I have used it for many things,
inspecting cylinders of a new to me riding mower (v twin).
Sticking into a wall in my house while trying to figure out why the F i couldn't get a new external faucet to thread into the pipe.
Found out the installer decided to do a shit job soldering directly into the pipe for an unknown reason, resulting in me having to cut a bit square on the inside half of the wall so i could solder a threaded end onto the pipe...
I would have been lost with out that tool!
And most recently, replacing the pressure sensor and screen, was unable to get the screen out.
Used the scope to see if i even had one in there.
Saw the image showing me a Yup!

Just to follow up this, I changed out the valve cover and put in a range device before we took a long trip last weekend. After about 1,200 miles of driving, it appears that the oil loss/consumption is barely noticeable if existent at all. No oil spots around the valve cover and no drips at plug 7. I also really like having 8 cylinders at all times. Can tell a big difference in responsiveness.
