On a quest for the perfect rear spring for ride quality and drop amount.

Currently I should be at a 2.5” rear drop using Belltech 4” springs and a Maxtrac 1.5” spacer. I don’t love the ride quality.

So what spring is better? DjM 4” with spacer, McGaughy’s, Trekline, or Maxtrac?

I want to be at 3” in the rear, even though that seems to be level with my 3” front drop‍ (doesn’t make sense to me either)

The Belltech rear springs suck unless you’re getting the matching front spring, they are way too squishy compared to the stock front springs. I had the McGaughy’s springs in briefly and I remember liking them but I think the drop was more like 2.5” on my LWB. I currently have the Maxtrac 4” springs and I love them, the spring rate pairs well with the stock front springs. I’m actually thinking about raising the 13 an inch and I might use their 1” front spring and I’d change to their 3” rear spring.

Thanks @91RS, that is good feedback. The Belltech rear springs do suck, that I have learned. I'm just trying to not go through 3 or 4 different springs to find what works well. I've already changed the rear setup 3 times now. I am going to swap the Belltech drop shocks or Bilstein 4600's.

I have a pair of Maxtrac front 1" springs that I never installed. Instead I went with OE springs and Belltech drop struts set at 1 inch drop. I am thinking of switching to OEM or Bilstein 4600 struts and the Maxtrax springs.
