How does Plasti dip hold up? I sanded primed and painted my trucks grille and it peeled after about 3 months. I want black out some stuff on my wife's Yukon but don't want it to look ghetto. I ended up buying a new grille for my truck.

It seemed to hold up pretty well. I used a good degreaser on the chrome surround of the grille after taking it apart, and sprayed away. I actually just painted the surround with Dupli-color Black Chrome because I thought it would look a little more finished. Like I said, at the very least it'll show you what your trim piece will look like as black (flat) so if you don't like it you can just peel it off. Just make sure you put it on thick on all surfaces or it won't peel that well.

I thought LED's were pretty pricey?

Yep they can be! If we're talking interior illumination you can get em cheap, but nearly everything on the outside is going to cost way more than stock...maybe that's a gauge for "cheap?"

Plasti dipped all the emblems and my rear windshield wiper. Came out great. Several washes and no peeling.

Cut exhaust tip off, looks really clean with no tip, plus make the exhaust just a little louder

I have heard (it may be a rumor) from many of people that if you cut any exhaust off and it doesnt exit from underneath the vehicle you can have rust issues on the under side of the truck? Like i said only heard about it, never did it. May check into though.

I'd be nervous about that too, but have no experience so I dunno. I think I'd rather paint mine gloss black, maybe with high-heat paint, if that's possible. Someone on here has done that and it looked pretty sharp.

This could happen if you cut it in the wrong place. I cut mine about an inch behind the last muffler and at an angle so that it points down a little. If you notice, the pipe still pokes out from behind the heat shield. So the exhaust gases still flow free from under the truck. I did this mod over a year ago with no problem of rust or anything else. If you cut it in the right spot, it will never give you a problem.
