I have an 07 and you do too. Is yours falling apart yet?

Ha, good point... i havent had problems yet w/ mine either.

I understand your point tho domin8. Give it a year to get all the kinks out. Im sure a few members will go for it and buy one. Nothing wrong with that imo...

The days of new generation vehicles being full of problems is long gone. Y
es they may have minor kinks here and there but that is what warranty is for.
I would rather not wait and watch the prices go up by 10% when demand gets higher. When the NNBS came out, one could scoop a Tahoe with leather seats and a lot of other features for $42k easily (mine was even less than this). Now, the same equipped model would run at least $47k.
Back then, completely fully loaded LTZ Tahoes were $54k. Now they are $60k and more.

Inflation has had something to do with that over the last 5 years...

...and the crazy part about that is inflation continues to raise the price of things but the vast majority of people's salary has not followed that same trend.

Our cost of living increase every year is 1.5-2% these days. So, a Tahoe going from $54,000 in 2007 to $60,000 in 2012 actually isn't bad at all.

It would look like this with what has been considered inflation (by my company, and 2% is low) since 2007:

2007: $54,000
2008: $55,080
2009: $56,182
2010: $57,305
2011: $58,451
2012: $59,620

I guess my point was that many folks (fortunately hasn't happened to me yet) income has either stayed the same or in many cases gone down while inflation has continue to increase the costs. Anyhoot, WAY off topic... Carry on :D
