Fixed it and just put the link. I can't figure out how to embed youtube videos for the life of me.

And yeah that's a great plan Atomic, I wish I could do the same. These ******* winters are just destroying my tahoe. I definitely need a summer and a winter ride.

i bought a 01 grand prix SE for the winters here, and man it handles snow way better then any other car ive driven before. itll still do 70 on the freeways when snow covered and does way better then a truck. I bought it for 2400bucks and put a intake gasket on it when it had 130,*** miles, now she has well over 150,*** miles 2 yrs later. I cant even let her go since shes been so good to me (knock on wood) but i installed a remote start for the winters as well.. IDK best bet is to buy a beater, even like a 5speed honda or some shit.

Not worth throwing money into the hoe if you have to watch it rot away with the salt.

Yeah that's what im really starting to think especially since rust that was supposed to get fixed by my buddy is already starting to come back and it's not even winter yet. I'm just not sure if I wanna make my tahoe my winter vehicle and buy a summer car and start a new project or just get a cheap winter beater. I've really been thinking of buying a crown vic, or a caprice and doing something with that for a summer vehicle.

Yeah, I'm pretty much going to do the same thing in a few weeks. I gonna have my current rims powdercoated, but the lip only. I'm going to keep the center chrome. Kind of a reverse of what I've seen other people do. ( Why do I have to different, just because! LOL) And if it comes out crap I got a few months to unload 'em and stack doughs for spring, :) Wish I could photoshop so I could get an idea how this is gonna turn out, I still have my stocks tho.

+1 on the beater, I got a 5 speed honda for running around
