I used the proper term but yes fatnlow just like that

I thought we measured blizz and yours were like an inch shorter so I still can use that excuse :)

either way I need to get shocks in then it will probably lift it back up a little

more excuses lmao!

obviously!!!! its not like some people get a special kit from Belltech that makes them .25" lower and others that raise their truck .25"

we would all be the same if some variables didn't change us

I knew from the beginning I would be lower than a lot of people because I have VERY large boxes in the back while some have a third row

and you are correct atomichoe

it was a bet against Blizzard and I won

I've gotten used to it, plus it keeps me from speeding because if I go any faster than say 60mph and hit a good enough dip say goodbye to the tahoe

once I get shocks I will LOVE my tahoe all over again

how many turns would you say it would take to drop the front end a half an inch

I'd guess 4 also... torsion bars after all are linear springs. it was about 1/4 per turn when I lifted the nose and balanced out the GM lean. However you have to cycle the suspension or at least get it to move around somewhat to see the new height reflected.

in my experience you can't turn the adjuster a couple of turns and then look at a tape measure and see there difference. Go down the block bobbing the nose and swerving side to side like Felipe Alonso warming his tires, and you'll see it immediately.

4 huh?
that makes sense..

but yeah no matter how many times I stand on the running board and jump up and down on one side of the car looking like a retarded monkey it doesn't "settle" until I go bobbing down the street for a little bit... then I hear scrapin haha

my biggest problem is finding a FLAT surface because my street has a crown to it, like most do I guess

for measuring? driveway dude. it only has to be level side to side.
my driveway is so slopped I run the front end 3/4 of the way up ramps to level out when I do an oil change.

rolled the fenders some more today and the drivers side rear tire proceeded to tuck

got a picture of it sitting at 30.5" in the driveway

clean95 is taking his front Bilsteins out and they are the same mounting style as the rears on my tahoe so I was curious and put it in where my rear ones would go..

fully expanded the shock fits perfect between the top mount and the shock extender which means it won't lift my back end anymore

I was going to install them to see how it rode but was thinking I would have no travel going up its all just cushion coming down

so maybe if I took my shock extenders out it would give me a little more travel?

what do you guys think?
