I checked the oil and did not read on the stick. I topped it off. Took 2.5 quarts. I removed battery and they got a new one. Replaced the bad cable end and attached the two wires. Acted like wanted to start but would not. Pulled plugs. Soaking wet. Plugs out and sitting overnight to evaporate the gas on plugs and on the pistons. Gonna reinstall and try again tomorrow. may need to pull the cap. valve cover leaks. I tightened the bolts. It is a mess.
We can open a stupidity garage together just for stuff like dis. I got some oil, a funnel, and my handy new cordless Dewalt shop vac. And a half can of terminal protector. Few gallons of courtesy washer fluid to charm these idiots too. What's it worth to them?

Ok, the 1999 Sentra is now running. Changed the plugs because were old and soaked with fuel and it needed a cap and rotor but the distributor was full of crud/oil from leaking internally. That was causing a weak and intermittent spark. Changed out the distributor that came with a cap and rotor. Had to wait for one from RA. Supplying pics of the old distributor. Lower right you can see some wire insulation with wet oil on it and the crud built up on right. The upper area of the dist was clean. Installed new plugs as well. Started right up. Went for a road test. CEL was on-P0400 EGR circuit problems, front brakes grinding, motor/transmission mounts making noise, wipers crap and key tumbler/cylinder-have to jiggle to get key to turn. This Sentra only has 95k miles on it. She has some decisions to make. She paid me $90 and making me 2 banana nut bread loafs. For a youngster, she is a hell of a baker.

For mine and @Fless peace of mind, my girl cleaned all the leaves and crud out from all over the cowl area. My girl has a good habit of looking at every vehicle I pull in the driveway and she takes it upon herself to clean the cowl areas of any crud and leaves that the owner allows to gather there. Only two customers have ever said thank you.
