A few of my friends are saying it looked better with the clear lenses. Now im starting to believe them. What do you guys think?

If i wanted to remove the Nightshades coats from my corners should i just sand down and then buff?

I dont think so. most of our truck models, (silverados, 1500s, 2500s, etc.) have aftermarket clear corners. you and I are different, my friend.

You should be able to use 1000 grit, 1500 then 2000 grit wet sand to get rid of the night shade. Mine were a tad too dark and I lightened them up with some wet sanding then followed by a rubbing compound and a polish to shine em back up.

I just remembered you are painting your truck though. If you color match the grille I would probably like the smoked more. Hard to say without pics but I wouldn't change anything until that point if I were you.
