I wanted to gauge interest in an opportunity that has come up to become a forum vendor. I am finishing up the details, but I will be able to provide both performance parts such as Exhausts (Magnaflow, Corsa, Borla, Flowmaster, Gibson), Intakes (AFE, AEM, Airaid, K&N), Performance Chips (Bully Dog, Superchips, Edge) as well as car audio equipment from all major brands. Very soon I will be able to offer wheels and tires as well.

I, like everyone else here, am always looking for the best deals I can get when buying parts for my tahoe, so I figure since I have the opportunity, why not offer them to fellow members!

I'm always hunting the internet for the best prices on parts and I will ensure that the prices I offer will beat what I can find out there so you are getting the best deals possible.

I'd like to gauge some interest if this would be something worthwhile to fellow members. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciates!

You may not bet much business on the Performance Chips here because Blackbear pretty much has the market cornered with their tunes but everything else you listed would probably be good sellers here if you've got good prices that are better than where we can get them elsewhere. As you know if you've paid attention to this board is that the majority of folks here are lookin' for the next thing to do to their ride :waytogo:

Well, competition is good for everyone ... yes there are a couple of vendors here with good track records but that doesn't mean there isn't room for others. After all BB/Tony/etc had to start somewhere too.

Betting on yourself is always a good idea if you know your stuff ... I say go for it!

Don't stock too much, give folks good prices and good service and you're on your way. :waytogo:

thanks for the advice. I'm not really looking to start this as a business, just something on the side as the opportunity came up to get some good prices on some products. I'm mostly into the car audio aspect, and feel i can offer some very great prices on products to everyone here. I am not looking to compete with tony and his suspension expertise/product or with blackbear. I'm simply gonna offer some products from time to time when i can really give good deals just to help out fellow members. The only reason im saying becoming a vendor is that is probably the only way i could go about doing that.

I say go for it. If the price is right you will be a good seller no matter what.

If you have competitive prices and your service is good with good products, you can't go wrong. A forum like this won't hurt either :) Good luck bro! You got my sale if you have the product I need and the lowest price!

Oh and here's a vending idea ...

Be the first and only one to mold a hitch closeout for Hoe/Yuk Hybrids ... you'd have the monopoly of the business for thousands of owners out there. :waytogo:
