Yeah, he is saying his CVs lay just about flat, in other words he did not crank them any more than stock.

exactly. when its tire time again they are getting cranked and the rear springs are getting replaced, saggin bad. should be able to throw a couple more inches of rubber under it no problem. :)

Yeah the cowl hood and the cragars are making me wanna lift lol. I don't know now though. From what everyone here says it looks like it's gonna be a little more costly than I had wanted even if I do buy cleans Pro Comp kit.

I spent more than I planned when I did it. BUT, I do not regret it. I did it right and the truck rides and drives so nicely.

yes it is. Gears and tires are killers. Price out a set front and rear with master install kits and while you are at it a trutrac.

Also another avenue if you do lift it instead of having a custom front driveshaft made you can swap in a part-time t-case out of a truck. I picked one up with a driveshaft for $125 and its a very straight forward swap. Plus i prefer the damn near bullet proof manual NP205 t-case to the junk autotrac..but thats just a personal preference thing

No getting around it ....it costs. But I got the procomp 6 inch mx6 kit too and its awesome. Last winter there was like 2 feet of snow here in the chicagoland area and for the hell of it I went off and parked in my front yard. LITERALLY... ill post some pics later but the truck went thru the 2 feet like it was 2 inches

Ground clearance is a good thing. In a past life I haad a static S-10...it would get stuck on speed bumps and pulling into some driveways. Having a big truck also allows you to "take the road less traveled"
