I've been looking through a lot of forums and write ups on the 6.0 swap and had a few questions. At the very least, its getting cammed.
Can i keep my stock 4l60e and buy a monster-in-a-box rebuild kit for it? Says they are rated for 500hp. Or should i just find a 4l65e or 80e to drop in.

Also what should i do to my rear end to make it hold up and not shatter when i punch it. should i run a 14bolt or is there stronger components to replace the stockers with? any help is appreciated, thanks.

Go bigger on the trans. I'm sure that 500 hp is rated on a lighter corvette, not a heavy Tahoe.

As for the rear end, your 10 bolt should he strong enough. The stock g80 lockers have a history of grenading and taking out a lot of other parts with em. Get something stronger like a Detroit tru trac

Like stated above, our trucks are heavy, so build as strong of a trans as your budget allows. Mine's rated up to 800hp, but I've already had to have it rebuilt once.
As for the rear end, I busted my stock G80 not long after my motor swap and replaced it with a Tru-trac. I also sheared a few teeth off the ring gear, but the rear assembly (axles, housing, etc) have held up great so far. If you're only planning a cammed 6.0 swap with a couple other minor bolt-ons, your rear end should hold up okay.

I hate to ask a stupid question but what is a true trac i have heard of them before and i didnt know if it was the same thing as the g80 with just a different name or what it did. Im also offroad a good bit during hunting season. Mud, Gravel and all that mess. So traction wise it wont hurt anything would it? Thanks for the help guys
Also would it hurt to have a tru trac in the rear and not the front? 28spline or 30?

The true trac will be fine for light off roading as long as your not in a position where one of the wheels would be off the ground. The G80 is a locker that locks after there is one full rotation of wheel slip. This abrupt locking "shocks" the parts which causes failures.

4l80 seems to be the way to go. Just a beefier trans even in stock form. I think I just busted my torque converter in my 4l60/5 today. Hindsight 20/20 I should have at least done a stock 80e. would have saved a lotta dough and been in a better position to drop the 6.0 motor in.

and I hope you have put all the supporting mods together for the cam swap. Its like a damn dominoe effect!
