on the way home from work today and it was pouring and seen a flatbed tow truck having some issues hes was high centered in a ditch duallys not touching the ground. my inner "redneck" saw this as a challenge so i pulled over and offered my hand , the tow truck driver was unconvinced that my truck would be able to pull me out but didnt refuse my help so we strapped up and in 2WD i gave it gas felt the g80 lock and out he came he snapped this picture b4 i unhooked it and gave me his number he gave me a card and said anytime i need a tow or lockout its FREE , BOSS!!!!!!:hands:
this truck never fails to amaze me ive even pulled a 18wheeler about 800 feet off the road once (empty trailer) but still , i love this truck his words i qoute was "that thing has got some balls" . it was funny to watch everybody in the cars around us stare in amazment lmao gotta love a chevy

While the 6.5 TD is a good engine I would not put one in a 'hoe. Then you would have alot more issues to deal with. I just got rid on my Chevy K-2500 with the 6.5 in it. I was a strong engine but required a TON of preventive maintenance and alot of thing could go wrong, the injection pump, lift pump, oil pressure sensor, PMD, injectors, and god forbid you run it over 210* then you are in trouble!!!!! If you wanted a diesel engine for a 'hoe I would get the Duramax that would be solid!!!
