Thunderform fits Denali

I wondered why MTX said Thunderform would'nt fit the Denali, especially if it fits the Escalade. Well i gamble it would fit...and it does. just fine. My only gripe is that it doesnt screw down into the existing holes once you remove the jack. You have to drill 3 holes to hold it down. Fits nicely and doesnt vibrate like I thought it might. I'm running the MTX sub it came with...sounds pretty good but has a limited range. I will be putting a POLK MM1040 in and running it @2ohm on Friday. Then we'll see how it really sounds.








Not sure why they say it doesnt fit the Denali. I bought 1 on Ebay for $140, not worth the $299 price for a prefab box to hold 1 10inch. But its a great fit for those who want more bass And keep their cargo room. Gotta cut the panel for a 10inch speaker. Still working on it so I'll will update this weekend with the finished product.

The MTX people only say that it won't fit the Denali because of the amplifier that sits on top of the OEM subwoofer that was in the back in the 2001-2002 models. Apparently someone didn't update their information that the amplifiers moved to the center console in the 03+ models.

I think they missed out on some good sales...as long as they could drop the price too.

Not sure on the XL. I think the panel and space are different.
