I’m currently running a 5.3 LM7, swapped the stock cam to a summit racing .523 lift cam, long tube headers, K&N air filter, push rods, trunions upgraded, new lifters, and 40 series flow master muffler.
Found a company in Ga that sells remanufactured 706 heads that I can get CNC ported and polished with 2.00 inch intake valves. I’m swapping the heads due to when the mechanic I entrusted to swap all my stuff over drilled through a water jacket trying to remove a broken exhaust stud.
I’m wondering if I should swap the stock truck intake also to the tbss intake. Here is what I don’t know, will the injectors plug into my harness or will I need adapters ? Is there anything else I’ll run into with this swap?
