for anyone trying nite shade and you get a dull finish..
try using Rustoleum Lens Tint
I used it and got an instant glossy finish, no clear added

You're good man, Your tails looks beautiful! It flows real well with your actual body paint, and that looks like a good alternative to Niteshades!

thanks dude!! but honestly you've got the skill
I've always wondered how to tint the tail lights like you did and get it even
its hard to not go all the way like I did, takes skill to get a light even coat

but Rustoleum Lens tint has the same effect as nite shade lets light shine through better than just regular spray paint

Ha thanks, I just did like 1 layer let it dry and did kinda a half layer lol. I didn't want to go too dark, but just give it some color so they doesnt stick out as bad. But I still love the look of yours being that dark. Do your bulbs shine through pretty good?

day time is a little tough but still decent for being stock bulbs
night time is perfect, no problems at all
if I decide to step up to LED bulbs it will be even better

ill take pics of mine at work tomorrow, mine are dark as hell but light up great i just put them on real quick on turned on the parking lights and they shined perfect through them

ill post pics tomorrow nite of them guys

FYI

IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS PLEASE SCUFF YOUR LIGHTS AND USE SOME ADHESION PROMOTOR OR YOU ARE GOING TO GET PISSED WHEN THEY START TO FLAKE OFF!!!!!!

i know it will be a few extra bucks more to do but anytime u put paint on plastic you must atleast scuff it up and use adhesion promotor

damn yours look really good did all you use is nightshade to?

try paint thinner in a small area, just dont drench it. depends on if you used a clear from a paint gun or rattle can however

if you used a paint gun it aint gonna work rattle can should wipe right off

if you guys want i can do them how i did mine with black tinted intercoat clear and then 3 coats of clear over them
get at me if interested

Dude riviera those are so sexy!!:)
