I'm looking into buying a 2003 Tahoe Z71, it's got 80k miles on it and i've got them talked down to 11.5 on it right now. The only problem is that it needs new tires really bad. My question to you is can you take a guess of what tire size will fit that rim and not rub?

I'm at a crossroad right now because I dont know if I want to just get 4 new tires, or if I want to get different rims while i'm at it. I like the rims that are on it, but I also like beefy tires and i'm not sure if it will work out. Also I was thinking if I just found a black set of rims smaller than 20's, I could fit more tire underneath there and the tires would probably be cheaper as well.

Thanks for your help in advance, also please keep in mind i'm very vehicle illiterate.

If u have the money I would go with the wheel/tire combo. I also like the Z71 wheels as well I would just go with AT tires. Do u have any specific tire in mind?

I have the money I'm just not sure if I want to part with it. But I figure if I do get a new set of rims I could sell these 20s on craigslist and get some of my money back. Also I don't know anything about tires so I don't have anything specific in mind, all I know is I like the beefy look but I don't want to spend a ton of cash. I don't know how big I can go without a lift
