I took my 2015 Yukon in for a oil change and tire rotation at a GMC Dealer and they lost my Tire lock removal lug, My question in , what should my recourse be, besides them replacing the locks or giving me replacement locks. I am talking about my time and my frustration, I am disabled and every time my attendant takes it in something is always off or forgotten, like not putting on the tire caps, not putting on the green caps (Nitrogen) or leaving oil on my fender, admittedly these are small things but to me they are important. I paid top dollar for this vehicle and I expect top service, or am I mistaken.? John Paul GMC, Milw. WI Thank you.

IMO they just need to replace the locks/key. Maybe give you a free car wash or something... but any more is just ridiculous to ask for. It was a mistake, it's not like they threw it away on purpose.

No but a dealership is supposed to be creme de la creme, top notch professionals not a bunch of monkeys. Maybe it is time to select a new dealership for service?

I understand how you feel but have learned that there’s no such thing. Get a free detailing. Replace the locks And find a new dealership.
I watched as one of my dealers top mechanics sideswiped a plastic garbage can with my 3 day old suburban.

Well, I have but it is becoming more and more rare as these new generations of selfie people enter the workforce.

I ran tire and oil change shops and never had a car fall off a lift, fall into the pits or have an engine start with no oil in it. And we certainly never ever never lost a customer's wheel lock.

Be sure to let us know when you actually find one...

Flow GMC/Chevrolet in Winston-Salem, NC; Wallace Cadillac/Chevrolet in Stuart, FL, Delray Buick-GMC in Delray Beach, FL (Fantastic Master Mechanic! Sadly, he passed away due to brain cancer) and there was a Buick dealer in the Fort Lauderdale area that's long since closed, I knew many of the mechanics and was personal friends with some, the parts department was top notch.

Sounds like it's time to find a new place to take your vehicle. Mistakes happen, but it sounds like you may be snake bit where you're taking it.
