How do you get the bead to seat again? Starter fluid like the stretched tire kids lol?
I’ve used a heavy ratchet strap tightened up around the circumference of the tire while inflating it. Sometimes you need to go up to 45 psi to get it to pop into place.

Also remember to remove the valve stem core so not to restrict airflow when trying to get it to seat

Doesn't work, well, it will at first but then they go to sleep and need to be woken up by moving (or spinning in a tire) and the light will come back.

I believe member @Jolly Roger tried different things about a year ago and has a big post about it titled "Wires sticking out of my tires".

Ultimately, he used that spoofer box linked to earlier above.

I tried to wake my new ones up by putting them in the tube and tying it to a rope and spinning it over my head. All that did was make me look like a dumbass and I about hit myself a few times.

Wasn't there some kind of toy on a rope that you'd spin over your head that would whistle--way back in the day? Lol, I could picture you doing that!

Interesting. Now I don’t have to pay the tire shop if I ever need new sensors lol I despise going anywhere if I can do it myself... but then I run into the problem of not having a trust worthy mechanics when I need it

I think I remember those. But a 2 lb chunk of PVC tube can be dangerous I found out. The problem seemed to be when it was time to stop spinning it. It would have been ok if I just let it go but I figured it would end up in a neighbors yard or worse yet through their window and in their living room, and then the bomb squad would be called in since it DID look like a pipe bomb. Idiot. :signs75::signs8:

I have a 60 gallon compressor and regular 3/8" hose. I just stab the air tool coupler on the valve stem and pull up on the tire. It starts pretty easily and seats with around 35-40psi (guessing). Stock-size tires and wheels aren't a problem.

You can remove the valve from the stem to get better flow into the tire to overcome air that escapes due to not being seated.

Yup. I left out that detail in that last reply. Actually, you can see the core remover/multi-tool on the back bumper in that pic I posted.
