Hey... I am sure everyone has seen my other post about my 99 Yukon 4x4 with 125,*** miles on it and the questions about shock replacement. Well, this one is about tire replacement. I am in need of tires within the next couple months (before the snow flies really) and was wondering what everyone would recommend. Once again I am not looking for a Cadillac ride and need to be able to tow a race car occasionally behind it on an open car trailer. Looking for something good in the snow, rain, and dry weather. I have the Goodyear whatever's on it right now and am not thrilled with em but they are not bad... just damn over priced if you ask me.

So my question is actually simple, what replacement tires would you recommend, have tried, heard good things about, or have heard horrible things about? Size is stock 245/75/16 and I believe whats on there now is the Goodyear Wrangler RT/S's.

Thanks in advance for the help.
Mike

Are you looking for All seasons? Or are you running seperate winter/summers?

I run seperate on all of my vehicles.

I'm partial to Firestone Winterforce for winters. They seem to pull harder in snow/slush than the others that I'v tried (tigerpaws/blizzacks, etc.). Last year I had them on my wife's Jimmy. They were good, just seemed to have more grip than my tigerpaws, so I bought some for my truck this winter.

For summer, I'm bleh, whatever is on sale. Timberline's for my wife's truck and Bridgestone Destinations for my truck. Next spring , we'll see what's on sale for summers, my truck will need new 17's next spring ( Summer Rim's upgrade!).

Looking for all season tires I guess. I dont like messing with tire storage and what not. I deal with enough parts on the race car so i try and keep the daily driver stuff simple.
