I have Bridgeston Revo 2's on my 00 Escalade, I measured the thread and am I am kinda dissapointed to learn I only have about 9/32nds of thread left with about 8K. At this rate they will not make 20K. And there ratings are slowly slipping.

So I would like to dump them and buy something new. I must say I was a big Revo fan but imo these Revo2's are not as good as the original Revo's! So I figure sell them now, recoup some cash and go new!

What do I get next? I was considering the Michelin AT2 or LTX MS2, I swore I would never buy Michelin again but there ratings are pretty darn good. I DONT like the thread pattern on the firestone Dest AT so thats out....Any other suggestions?

Is it that way on all 4 tires, and is the wear even across the tire(s)?
What is the tread wear# on the sidewall?
Definitely check to see if your warranty will cover it. The thing I ALWAYS hated about tire warranties is their choice to pro-rate tires, and only offer a slight discount for the replacements.
Sucks to hear the Revo 2's wore so quick on ya'.

If you want an A/T I run Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 245/75/16 on my Tahoe I have the 99-00 Escalade/Denali rims, there a good tire they wear good and they are good in the rain, snow, dry pavement, and they aren't noisy on the highway, I have had them for a year and change.

I am going to check all four tomorrow all the way across the thread BUT when I checked the two front were 9/32nds and I rotate all the time so I have to assume all four are identical. Will post back tomorrow.

As far as the threadwear numbers I rate it about 100! the way its going.....

Luckily I purchased them from Mavis last November, I need to look for my receipt......

I am going to see how much (if anything) they give me, I figured I would do better selling them outrite and starting over. I have to weigh my options.........probably a whole lot easier having them prorate them rather then dealing with A-holes on craigslist.

Will report back with some measurements in the next day or two.

Really, there good? I seen them but imo the thread looked very generic. I had the mechanic install hankooks on the two work vans at my job. IMO there great tires, the two idiot drivers hit curbs all day long ontop of some days where they drive 400-500 miles and the hankooks held up well! I was really surprised!

Yes, you can go to any LICENSED BRIDGESTONE DEALER to get them warrantied out. I know for a FACT any SEARS Auto Center will act a median b/w Bridgestone and yourself. Technically they will only warranty out tires when they are at 2/32nds. But if your Sears Associate who is handling the case is just as adamant as you it will be done. Now Sears will need proof of tire Rotations and will need tread depths of all four tires, not just the two. Since Bridgestone will be giving you credit for the tires you can ONLY BUY ANOTHER SET OF BRIDGESTONES OR FIRESTONE since they are the same company. I never dealt with a Bridgestone warranty claim but I have done a few with Michelin. Michelin likes to negoiate with the customer. Ex: Will the customer be happy with 65%? Other Manufacturers like Goodyear tell you it is what it is and what they offer you they take. Also if your truck is out of alignment your EFFED or in need of Suspension work. MAKE SURE there is no crud in your wheel wells from doing burn outs! :) If you have reciepts for ROT and Alignments just make the case ALOT EASIER!
