I bought a set of these last fall and they are an outstanding all around tire.

Wet weather and snow traction is exellent and they are a damn good looking tire too. I have them in the stock 275/55/20. The stock bridgestone dueler alanza h/t tires were absolute junk in my opinion, especially in the snow.

The Bridgestone's that came OEM on the LTZ's and Denali's are pretty decent tires. Everyone has their own opinion about who makes the best tires, but to be honest it all depends on what you are looking to get out of your tire. Personally, I really like Nitto, BFG, Cooper, Bridgestone and Michelin tires. Best thing to do is figure out what you are going for, whether it be looks, off road, high mileage, street and so on, figure out your price range, and then go from there.

All excellent tires. I find Coopers to be the most budget friendly. They make a great tire and manfacture alot of tires That are labeled for other to brands.

does anyone have any opinions on the General Grabbers?

I ran them on my old Escalade and I thought they were ok. They were decent in wet conditions but horrible in any snow or ice. For only a little more $ you can get the Nitto 420s which is a much better all around tire.
