Hello all and I hope to get some help.
1st off the vehicle is a 2016 yukon SLT with some Denali upgrades including the 22inch wheels. Has factory autoleveling rear suspension.
We have owned it for about a year now and last month bought a travel trailer rough weight is about 7600 loaded tongue weight about 950 to 975.
So I added the proper weight distribution and our camping trips are only 1 towing hour from our house and a few next year will be maybe 2 towing hours.
We did 1 trip last week and it towed perfect.
My yukons tires are ok but on the RV forums I have been getting told to upgrade to the XL tires and no luck finding LT for the factory rims. That don't increase the rotating diameter. With the factory autoleveling air ride I don't thinking I can fit bigger tires that won't rub somewhere.
Wife doesn't want to downgrade and get 20s but I'm thinking I may have too. Unless anyone here can give me so e suggestions. I was also think XL tires but not sure how much better they are over the standard P rated tires.
So if anyone has been down this road please chime in.
Thanks in advance.
