Tire size 2002 Yukon xl 1500 4x4 stock size 16" wheel stock truck

2002 Yukon xl 1500 4x4 what size tire in 16" can I put on stock is 265/70 16 truck is stock also what tire should I get got Goodyear triple treads now. Any body put 285/70 16 with no problems, got to get tires soon help me please.but they told me if I want non stock and they don't fit there mine.
