I have 265 70 r17 stock denali wheels right now and what to stick with them right now. What is a good size tire I can put on it leveled? I want to get BF K02s. Do not what it to rub at all.

Thanks in advance.

You can go bigger than a 32" tire. Both @HiHoeSilver and I are running 275/70r18s (33.2"). I have KO2s and he has a General Grabber.

The closest to that size for a 17" wheel is a 285/70r17. Should clear but I can't promise since I have no first hand experience.

I have a 2003 Z71 with just keys and run 285 70 17 muds. Slight trim on the liner. I use it off-road sometimes, no tire/truck contact. I have them on Helo's.

Back in the Day, I actually put the 285/75/17 A/T tires on my Stock 99 Yukon. I cranked up the front end with the suspension tensioner (forget what it is actually called) that my Company shop guy told me about. There WAS a little bit of Rubbing on REALLY tight turns, but never enough to damage the tire or any parts of the front end. Save me THOUSANDS in a suspension/body lift for what ended up looking like an increase of 2".... When I left that company, I put regular roads/rain tires on and lowered it back down... never noticed a thing. Drove the truck no problem for 12 years.
