Tires for 22s

My wifes 17 XL is due for tires and I was looking for recommendations. Looking for the smoothest ride and we are locked in to the 22" factory rims. I realize this might not be the best option but replacing the rims doesnt seem like a practical solution right now. We go to the snow once or twice a year but most will be highway type miles.
