Tires what to get ??? i dont have a clue

hello everybody im new to the forum and i need to get new tires for my 96
4door tahoe i need a at that willl be mostlly street but is sti aggresive enough for off road if i have to ? any suggestions or past threads you guys know of thanx

Have Kumho Road Venture AT's on mine, a little more aggressive than a BFG AT. 285/75/16's with just about a 1 1/2" crank and extra leaves in the rear. About 16K on them so far, seem to be wearing pretty well, expect 40K or more.

i have some sort of street trie now i bought this tahoe used they are 265/70 r16
thetires say do not use on a 16.5 in rim ? i have a stock suspension

joking aside.. look at the COOPER ZEON LTZ it is an AT designed for trucks it has a great street/at tread pattern.. god ratings in snow, and loose soil.. and has a smoother rid than a BFG AT if you are doing 90% street i would go with this.. it will also give you alot more miles than a BFG.. but if you want the look of the more ruddeg AT.. then i would recommend the BFG AT thats what i run,... but on a 80:20 or a 90:10 main street i would go with the Cooper.. i sell a lot of the cooper Zeon tires. and like the tire a lot.. hope this helps

I just bought a set of Cooper Discoverer A/T 3's (265/70R16) and they are awesome... I got them for 624.00 plus a 75.00 mail in rebate they ride really nice on pavement and Consumer reports rated them #1...

Keep in mind those discover ats will have a louder ride and not last as long. Than the zeon but they are still a great tire. I sell a good many of them also.
