I have the factory 20" wheels on my Tahoe & i currently have almost 45k miles on the original brigestones, What brand of tires are most people replacing the brigestones with or are you just buying more brigestones. I am looking to buy new tires soon so any help would be good. Thanks.

I think before anyone can really give you a good response, we'd need to know what you want them for. Is it strictly road use, some off-road, do you have snow during the winter, heavy rain during the year?

I live in denver and see a lot of slush/snowpack during the winter, some dirt trails during the summer for hiking, and a lot of pavement. So i'll be going with the Nitto Terra Grapplers this fall. And i like the look of them!

Lots of good tires out there in that size. The Bridgestone’s that came on the truck are nice tires so you can't really go wrong with replacing with more Bridgestone’s. If you want a little more of a performance tire, I would recommend Nitto's. You can find really helpful reviews of tires at www.discounttire.com and also www.tirerack.com.

I was looking at the General Grabber from Tirerack.com

They got a very good review for the 4 season type of driving that I do.

Check www.discounttiredirect.com. They ship the tires for free at wholesale price.

I used to run the Grabber's on my Escalade. They are pretty decent tires for the price, however the Nitto's have far superior traction on wet roads. The Nitto's also seem to be more quiet. But, the General's are decent rubber for the cost from my experience.
