@thumber ummm it's a luxury truck and I do understand I will feel things but in previous trucks I've owned such as ford expedition without air ride it was much smoother that's why I'm in ? If this is normal but thanks for you input

Mine is alot smoother than my astro was. But now where near like my father inlaws grand marque. I know tires have alot to do with it. If the side walls are hard and stiff you will feel more. My 20 inch riims with the falkens make me feel alot more than my michelins on my 16in rims. You hardly feel anything with those.

So I guess it's my tires which I'm in the process of changing... So I guess my new ? Would be what will be the best set of tires for both traction and comfort if there's anything out there like that prefer 20 inch @ thumber can you tell a difference from the 20 inch ride qulity vs stock??

There is a minor ride difference. Nothing bad though. It has more to do with going from 16 in rim to 20 in rim than anything. The michelins i had were extreamly smooth so im still getting a good ride. Still more comfortable than any car or truck ive ever owned. Traction on dry and wet roads with my Falken Ziex S/TZ-04 are nothing short of awesome. In wet where some are hydroplaining im sticking to the road. I contrubuting it to the wide deep agressive tread on the tires that wick the water away. Also the weight of the truck helps too. I recommend them to anybody.

what rubber do you have on it now? You should not have shaking or bobble heading unless you have real crappy rubber on it. Hey i was only messin with you before when i said its a truck it should feel like one. Im tellin ya mine with stock rims with michelins were smooth as silk. Like driving a caddy. Now i feel some bumps but noghting bad at all.

Well the tires on the truck now are Goodyear wrangler r/t if I'm not mistaking I think they are the factory tires from the dealer ((original)) if I'm not mistaking which have about 30 to 40 thread left on them but I didn't think tires will cause a vehicle to ride rough I thought your ride comfort comes from suspension parts I guess it's both but only 1 why to find out and that getting new tires and this is were I get stuck at I don't wanna buy new stock 17 inh tires I rather upgrade but I'm nervous if I upgrade the ride will be worse an the I have to spend more money on gettin 17 Inch tires an hoping good tires on stock rims make a comfy ride

I think if you did upgrade it will be a improvement. Make sure you look at the reviews of the tires you put on the new rims to make sure they meet your needs. I have 8000kms on mine and still look and ride like new. lol i should hope so huh.

I dont know where you are but odds are you have a member near you. If you were up here I would let you try my shoes on your truck just so you could see what a difference it would make.

It's up to you man. I choose my 20's for the ride and being in the great white north the roads can be crappy and pot holey. I also wanted more meat on my rims without throwing my speedo off to much. Which ever you decide I would put them on the truck and test drive them first at highway speed to make sure they dont vibrate. When you put them on spin the wheel and if the rims looks bent walk away no run lol. You dont want the trouble of someone elses crap. Mine were new and i still spun mine. I put the tranny in netral and jacked up the back and spun them and jacked up the front and spun them too. Being new i didnt expect any problems but you never know.
