I will be installing a Mcgaughy's 2/3 drop on my 07 Tahoe. I will also install 22 inch KMC Slides (black). Does anyone know the proper wheel offset for this wheel size and this drop combo? I would like to do this with minimal impact to ride quality and no rubbing. Recommendations on tire width are welcome as well. Thank you.

You might get this moved to the suspension section. Norcal SS (aka Tony) will see it quicker there and get you se up:waytogo:

Do you already have the kit? I'm not seeing McGaughty as the kit to have, lately. From personal experience, the Belltech springs ride better than stock, at least in the rear (I don't have my front lowered)...

I would go with the 2" Belltech drop struts and 3" Belltech rear springs. As for the wheels....22x9.5 with a +30 offset with 305/40/22 is the ideal set up.

Thanks for the response guys. Yeah, I know that modifying anything from it's original factory set up comes at a price. I just want this drop to go as smoothly as possible. The 2/3 Mcgaughys drop kit was highly recommended especially for the GM vehicles. Mcgaughys (according to there website) is the only manufacturer with a drop spindle for GM trucks and SUV 1999 and up that keeps the stock steering geometry. I guess other competitors have plenty alignment issues, bump steer, ball joints etc. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on 22 inch KMC slide?
