to paint or not to paint...my grille

I think my grille looks fine as is, but was debating whether or not to paint it body color or not, it's plastic, and wasn't sure how the paint would hold up, and was afraid to "test" it. what do you guys think? I attached a pic

I did that to my trailblazer. help up very well.

duplicolor black acrylic and clearcoat

Paint that and the bumper cap also. Would look good!

i don't like it at all. i think it would look better with a factory chrome or black grille shell

the thing is i'm blacking it all out...no chrome, already took off the door moldings, and deciding what to do for the bumpers, get z71 bumpers, paint these i have, or get an ss bumper...

why not get a black z71 'hoe grille?

i mean, if you like it, then more power to ya, but i think it looks like shaggy... i mean ugly.
