You know--I'd have to go a bit more then stock :D. Hopefully my cam can be saved.

im willing to bet theres very little changed for the cam. the TM (torque management) files being tuned is likely where most of the power comes from. and you dont need a cam to tune them. that stuff pulls timing for all sorts of silly reasons, and robs you of power, its set up like that stock to save the engine and tranny tho.

generally tho you need some idle air flow files and fueling files worked on. then you can play with the timing. or go as far as VE tuning it then maf tuning it. but that all takes a fair amount of time to do.

you recall what cam's in it? if its not to big they can run on the stock tune. but once you go large they want more air and fuel. getting them to idle nice seems to be the challenge for most from what i see on the hpt fb page.

be nice if you had a wideband installed, that way you'd know your true air fuel ratio. last thing you want is to be to rich, or to lean. both have neg effects.

Love it. Power was great and the take off was awesome. It hauled ass! Surprised alot of people at lights and on the pkwy lol. Finally got the trans issues sorted through, now this. Circle D makes a great product. Just make sure to upgrade your trans cooler. Better safe then sorry.

the camaros got a larger trans cooler already i think. its got the A6 tranny in it. from what i hear about the 8 speed trannys they use now, well they tend to fail. tc issues and other ********. somewhat glad i got a 6 speed.
