so i got my kon back today.. bad o2 sensor... the mechanic and i pretty much ruled in the fact on why my pass rear sensor went out cause it was caked with chunks of carbon and oil from when i did my seafoam treatment... i knew i was taking a risk when i did it with as many miles it had on it so in the end a $9 can of seafoam cost me $156 and some change which really wasnt bad of a deal considering there was a $65 diagnostic fee... She runs nice and smooth now. sure as hell beats replacing the cats... Thanks again everyone for the tips..

Nope i was a lil strapped in the money department but im gonna be replacing the last 3 here soon so i know all is well in the o2 department. as well as a tune up here come spring... i got a couple of oil leaks i need to get taken care of as well so me and my kon are going to have some much needed bonding time lol

the project i came home with a couple of weeks ago i guess is not complete... i was on my way to my moms house yesterday to get things ready for spring and somebody pulled out infront of me causing me to slam on my brakes and low and behold my check engine light popped its ugly head out and promptly said hello... so when and had the code scanned again and its the same damn code i had pulled when i had went out to lawton.... im goin back to the shop tomorrow and hopefully will be able to find out somethin....

man its all good.. its just frustrating but at the same time its makin me start saving money for a 6.0 & 4l85e tranny swap... and im finally getting the transition down from an old 1990 set up to an electrical nightmare on which i can only learn from.....

but went past the shop today and he thinks that there is still some crap in my cat that still needs to be burned out so he turned the light off and now we get to see what happens down the road

yea after i read this i replaced my bank 1 after cat sensor and it went away, for 3 days. now its back on just as before as well. yea ive always used seafoam and now i think it might be my culprit. i hope its just something that needs to be burnt through the cats so i dont have to replace them
