pro king sells a rebuild kit for about $170.. what else would i need? i would actually like to take a crack at it myself jsut to see if i can do it..

differences between 4l60 and 4l60e? and how do i tell which i have??

The difference is the "e" - computer/electronic control vs manual/vacuum controlled operation of the non-e version. The guts are basically the same between the two.

I'm 99.999% certain 700R4/4L60 is not vacuum operated, it's got a TV Cable.

so just by looking at it, how could i tell the difference? or would a 93 have the 4l60 since its "technically" a blazer and might be before they did the change to electronic junk??

93 is when they started changing over. Look at the electronic plug on the trans, if it has 4 wires or so it's a 700/4L60 if it has 12 or more its a 4L60E.
