torsion (sp) keys?

so can i just lower my stock keys up front to give it more of a raked look? or can u not adjust the stock ones? and if so how and where and how much and safe? lotta ?'s i know... sorry and if this makes no sence feel free to point and laugh i dont mind

You can lower your stock keys as long as they are not maxed out on "lowering". You can lower them all the way and still be "safe" as long as you can get your truck to align, if it doesn't align, then you may need to do drop spindles and raise your keys some until they will align.

and by align you mean take to a shop and have it aligned? and how do i lower them? and i dont beleive they would be maxed out because it just sits stock height right now

look under your truck..... you'll see the torsion bars coming from the front to about the middle of the truck (where the doors come together). You will see a bolt head sticking down. Loosen it up and the truck drops, tighten and it raises. Easier to do with the truck jacked up. Just try and get both sides the same height. Might have to set it then drive, and recheck height, etc..... hope this helps.

I was just as curious as you and i just finally said **** it and do it.. So to answer your question you said whats the lowest you can go with a stock keys well here it is hope this helps
