This is pretty simple to figure out, TOTQ. No. Just keep running TOTM, anyone can enter as long as you haven’t won that year, always do a theme, so if the same people enter, maybe their pic will be better, do like the first 6 or something to completely follow the rules of the theme and pic view, and have received an actual 2nd. If the same guys enter and vote every month, who cares, TOTM isn’t going to bring in new members, its only for the active ones, you tell a new guy to enter and its over by the time he gets back on.

If you want new members, you better gets some merch goin....

We, or I, do not “want” new members. I’m just trying to get others, wether new or old, to join in rather than the same trucks, different scenery.

If it fails it fails. No big deal. Just keep moving along. Maybe I’ll have to confer with the legend so we get it right.

Alright, I already had to warn one member for off topic posting and I don’t want to warn another ... so this thread is closed. Also because one of the things that differentiates this forum from others is that we are mostly courteous to each other, and for some reason this innocuous topic seems to bring the worst out of everybody.

@THE YETI: This is your deal, you’re never going to get concensus because people always have different views and some just like to argue for the sake of argument, so organize the contest as you see for and it will either succeed or fail.

Everyone else: The contest is supposed to be fun, not a butthurt garden. Ultimately what’s going to make or break the contest is the membership not the organizer, if the community cares about it and wants it to succeed they will engage in it, if they’re mostly apathetic as has been the case it won’t matter who runs it, it will just fade away.
