Hello!.. I have an 04 Tahoe.. I would like to combine/remove the radio din, ac/heater control panel, storage compartment and vent to fit a massive touchscreen that would take up the entire center dash compartment This touchscreen would need to control my ac/heater and my sound system.. has anyone done this/tried this, if you’re going to tell me it’s impossible I don’t want to hear it.. I’m very capable of making it happen just want some input and thoughts..

if you don't already have the oem digital ac control's then it's a wash just get a nice 7" kenwood/pioneer and call it day, you could maybe drop the manual ac controls and squeeze a ipad in the upper part.

I retained my factory controls and installed a 10.1" Android headunit. No need overcomplicate things, and I'd be surprised if you're going to find a way to control your factory HVAC with an aftermarket unit. The NBS just doesn't have the same level of electronics as some other vehicles. And, like I said, no need for it. Hey if you can figure it out, more power to you, but I've spent over $20k in electronics and install on my truck and haven't ever seen or heard of a way to do this.

But if you want a nice big touchscreen unit that handles entertainment and nav, that's a piece of cake.
