That 2500 comes out easier the way it went in; not from the front hooks.

The biggest concern was making sure it didn't lay on its side. I wasn't going to try to extract using a single tow strap or recovery point front or back.

Several people stopped, asking if I needed to be pulled out. Heck no, would just make it worse. The picture doesn't really convey the angle it was at. Forward or backward were equally hazardous.

In the end, we did this. Two is better than one. You can also see the D shackle in the receiver.

How do strap both ends with closed loops on both ends? You must use a D-ring on one end..

You could do a slip knot on one side? and hope the other vehicle has a hook?

Had to pull a car angles like that back to level but had just one strap. Ran the strap through the spokes in the wheels to my clevis and pulled up and out and level again. Wouldn't work in Bill's case as the tow vehicle would've gone over the other side!
